The Music Masters was founded in 1983 by myself, simply for my love for all types of music and sound equipment.  At an early age, I remember the only thing that kept my interest was playing my parents records on their console stereo. It kept me busy for hours back then and my love for music and the technology behind it has never faded. 

Growing up in the 70's I remember hanging out at the local disco Sunday afternoons and being amazed by the DJ mixing the hits on an incredible sound system. I was determined to not only play music like him, but know how everything worked. 

With the money I earned working part time after school all I bought were records and stereo equipment to play music while hanging with friends.  In college I got a job at Radio Shack and thought I had gone to a musical wonderland.  I worked full time in between classes and continued to build my music library and spend money on the latest electronic gadgets. 

After graduation I put my experience to work and opened a retail store. I sold a variety of electronics with the emphasis on car audio and DJ gear.  During the weekends I played music at local clubs and private parties. 

I soon met my wife Linette when she wanted to become a professional DJ herself.  She had worked since high school at a record store and also played at her college radio station and wanted to carry her love for music to the next level. I was fascinated with everything about her and all that she knew. I asked her to DJ a wedding with me, she said yes, and the rest is history.
